I realize this is going to be a very long run on sentence, but can someone tell me something? How is it that we can take the exhaust fumes wafting in from the traffic down on the corner, the faint aroma of seaweed encrusted fish drifting up and into our yard from the river a block away, and an occasional puff of the thick heavy air hovering over our neighbor's dog's potty area.... mix it all in with a bit of sunshine (although clouds seem to work just as well)... and the clothes hanging out on my clothesline come out smelling better than a rose?
What is this magic? And how can we get it to work on young men's athletic shoes?

Hey Ellen:
That's a good question!!Smile.Just stopping by to say hello and I'm thinking of you today!!Blessings~Sharon G.
Hi Ellen, thanks for the email-comment you left on my blog. It seems both of us have not been posting lately. I'm here in New Zealand since early October. I brought my niece wedding gown and the bridesmaids gowns. The wedding was last October 10th. They were lovely in their gowns.
This is my first time to go abroad and experince spring in another country. We only have two seasons in the Philippines - summer and rainy season. I'm having a great time wearing layers and layers of clothing and getting really, really cold. Thankfully it's officially summer here now and not as cold as when I first arrived in October. People here make a big deal out of summer going out in shorts and sleeveless tops and going barefoot also. It's amusing to me.
I'm glad to hear about news from out there in Michigan and sad that the US economy is not doing well. The Philippine economy is worse but we're a very resilient (?) people and can get by, by and by. :)
I'm also glad to hear that you're into memorizing Bible verses. That's great! I also memorize verses from time to time and it really helps to strengthen me.
I'm feeling a bit sorry though because I have not been posting new entries to my blog lately. I'm so busy here in NZ, making the most of my stay. My flight back to the Philippines is on December 27th.
Thank you for keeping in touch and for praying for me and my family. I believe it was God's idea that we become friends. I'm so blessed!
Tina
